Question 3

Are you an importer or distributor of products on the EU market?

Article 3 of the directive defines an importer as any natural or legal person established within the Union who places a product from a third country on the Union market, and a distributor as any natural or legal person in the supply chain, other than the manufacturer or the importer, who makes a product available on the market. Both have obligations under Articles 9 and 10.

The result is indicative only and is not a legally binding assessment.
